The 1500 positions of the Strategic Test Suite, 15 themes of 100 positions, each searched to a fixed depth or for a fixed time. Every position has up to ten candidate moves scored 1 to 100, the best move scoring 100. The engine gets the score of the move it picks, or 0 if its move is not a candidate, so the maximum is 10000 per theme and 150000 overall. Each theme runs in its own worker which is handed its hundred positions up front, so the fifteen rows fill in together, each at the pace its positions allow. The default depth 8 takes a few seconds and the result does not depend on the machine, unlike a fixed time where with fewer than fifteen cores the workers share the CPU and each search gets less than it asked for. Positions where the engine's move is not a candidate at all are listed under the table.
