What the search does as it goes deeper. Each position gets a worker searching to the chosen depth and the iterations are charted as they are reported: a bar per depth, height on a log scale, the total nodes so far, and the effective branching factor written above each bar, the nodes of this iteration divided by the nodes of the last. The table under each chart has the score and the principal variation, so a change of mind shows up as a new first move. A quiet position and a tactical one look quite different, and a mate stops the count.
